75-Year-Old Chihuahua Owner Punches Bear To Save Beloved Dog

1

When 75-year-old Carl Moore saw that a 300-pound black bear was trying to harm his precious Chihuahua, he did something unbelievably brave (some would even say stupid): he punched the animal straight in the face and scared him off.

Moore, a former Marine, bouncer and boxer, claimed that this was the exact same bear who had already killed several dozen of his chickens. Though he was unable to save them, the protective dog owner snapped when he realized the huge animal wanted to attack his beloved Chihuahua Lacy.

To quote the courageous Chihuahua defender:

“The man or beast that I run from ain’t been born and his momma’s already dead. I ain’t running from nothing. I never have in my whole life, and I ain’t gonna start now.”

In case you don’t believe a word Moore said, you should know that two men who were inside the house at the time of the ‘encounter’ confirmed the whole story.
