Adorable Bandana-Sporting Dogs Break World Record In Australia
A crowd of 764 dogs rocking bandanas is not only a sight for sore eyes – the gathering has also set a new Guinness world record.
Giving dog owners and enthusiasts a fantastic reason to attend the annual 5 kilometer (3 mile) lakeside walk, the Australian Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ (RSPCA) was convinced they could break the previous record of 364 dogs wearing bandanas at their Milton Paws Walk fundraising event – and they did just that!
Here’s what Chris Sheedy of Guinness World Records said:
“The Canadians had 364, less than 12 months ago. So they haven’t held it for very long. Might be a few unhappy faces there, but a lot of happy faces here today.”
