Man Builds Unique Dog Train To Make His Rescued Dogs Happy
Meet our hero of the month, 80-year-old Eugene Bostick from Fort Worth, Texas who has dedicated the last 15 years of his life to helping and rescuing abandoned dogs. Though he admits that this was not something he had planned to do after retirement, Bostick says that he couldn’t cope with the cruelty of others and had to do something to make a difference.
Here’s what the amazing man told The Dodo:
We live down on a dead-end street, where me and my brother have a horse barn. People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live.
As it turns out, Bostick has adopted more stray dogs than he can count during the past years, but he has done so much more than providing them a roof over their head – he also does everything in his power to make them truly happy.
His pooches definitely have lots of space to run around on Bostick’s property, but the kind-hearted retiree didn’t want them to spend their entire lives on his farm so he came up with the idea to make a one-of-a-kind dog train that would allow all of them to go on adventures together.
