Meet Boston’s Smallest (And Coolest) Robot Dog
Some time ago, we wrote about a robot dog developed by the good folks at Boston Dynamics. Well, it seems that their goal is to bring the size of their robodogs closer to the real thing and, a few days ago, they introduced SpotMini, their smallest robot dog yet.
Here, you can see their entire pack, together with a humanoid contraption of some kind on the left.
This is the smallest one in action.
Like all dogs, it goes straight outside.
It then hides under its bigger cousin.
To the nice people of Boston Dynamics (who are not that great at simulating a random conversation:)), it is nothing strange to have a robot dog walking around.
SpotMini can also feature a weird combo of hand and head when needed.
This head-hand can be used to do the dishes.
Or get rid of the garbage.
The robot’s only enemy is the dreaded banana peel.
Which immediately sends the mechanical pooch flying.
There’s also a fancy version.
In fact, why don’t you check it out for yourself?
You’ll be amazed!
