Back in May, we were feeling blue enough and we decided not to cover a tearjerker story about Freya, a Staffordshire bull terrier cross who spent most of her life in a rescue center and who was dubbed Britain’s loneliest dog.
I’m just having a lazy Sunday morning nap as I’m meeting up with Joan this afternoon for another walk. Wish me luck everyone, I know I can win her over!

She found her way to the rescue center when she was six months old and over the next six years, she would meet thousands of people and none of them would choose to take her home with them.
Yesterday went really well and I’m going over to Teddy and Joan’s house for a couple of hours on Wednesday. I’ll let you all know how I get on.

The story brought tears to our eyes.
What’s that you say? Someone is coming to see me this afternoon with their dogs to see if they can maybe offer me a home? Oh how exciting. I do hope they like me. Fingers crossed everyone.

The people who worked for the rescue center got even more pessimistic when Freya was diagnosed with epilepsy, meaning potential adopters would need even more convincing.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who’s made me feel so special today. I’m totally knackered and I’m going to sleep to dream of my new home that I know is just around the corner!

And then, in true Hollywood fashion, none other than Michael Bay went to Twitter to say how he read the story and how Freya will have a part in the new Transformers movie.
Found this in the news last week in the UK. We gave the Loneliest Dog, a role in Transformers. (1/3) pic.twitter.com/u4NIBRmvPH

He added he would also find a home for her.
Freya, has epilepsy and has been in a shelter her whole 6 year life.We are also going to find her a home. (2/3) pic.twitter.com/JVLXnvRTU8

And if he couldn’t find anyone, he would adopt her himself.
If not she will come to my house. Welcome to the cast Freya! (3/3) #Transformers pic.twitter.com/x9YJoP9eq4

The Transformers franchise might have lost most of its punch, but that doesn’t mean Bay is not a nice guy.
